Raquel Guardia ("we," "us," "I") operates the website and mobile app at raquelguardia.com and its connected domains. This policy explains what information I collect, how I use it, and the choices you have. By using the site or app, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information — the email address and name you provide when you register for a reader account or join the AriMexico Society membership.
• Newsletter & subscriber details — your email and optional name when you join the Phoenix Chronicle dispatch, plus any interests you select.
• Community contributions — the name and message you enter when leaving a recipe comment, a recipe rating, or a guestbook note.
• Favorites — the recipes you save to your personal favorites list, tied to your account.
• Payment information — orders are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number; Stripe handles payment securely and returns only a confirmation and your email for delivery.
• Redemption codes — the recipe-card codes you purchase and redeem, stored so your remaining credits can be tracked.
• Contact & booking inquiries — the name, email, organization, and message you submit through the contact or speaker-request forms.
• Automatic information — standard technical data such as device type, browser, and approximate region, collected through platform analytics to understand how the journal is used.

• To deliver the recipes, guides, downloads, and membership benefits you purchase.
• To send the newsletter and follow-up dispatches you opted into; you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To display your comments and ratings alongside the recipes you contributed them to.
• To respond to your contact, booking, and speaker inquiries.
• To improve the content, fix issues, and keep the site secure.

I do not sell your personal information. I share data only with the service providers that make the site work — Stripe for payments, the email and hosting platform for delivery, and analytics for usage insights — each under their own privacy obligations. I may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

I keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can unsubscribe from emails via the link in any dispatch, edit your interests, and request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and account at any time by writing to hello@raquelguardia.com or through the in-app account-deletion option where available.

The journal is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age in your region). I do not knowingly collect their information.

Reasonable technical and organizational measures protect your information, including encrypted payment processing through Stripe, signed download links for purchased files, and access controls on administrative data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but I work to protect your data.

I may update this policy as the journal grows; the "last updated" date above will reflect any change. Material changes will be noted on the site or by email where appropriate.
